There is a noticeable gap in the demand and supply of the top
talent in the market. In order to stay competitive and expand your business at
the same time, you need thought leaders who not only have the right skill to
move forward with your company but also blend well with your company
culture.
Larger companies having a strong employer brand and dedicated
recruiting team have a distinct advantage over their smaller competitor who
can’t divert a separate team for their executive search in Germany.
Recent research done by Linked In has revealed that company culture is one of
the biggest motivators for top talent to join and stay with a company for a
long period of time. A positive company culture that is in sync with the
candidate’s style of working is more important than monetary compensation as
stated by a vast majority of executive professionals.
So now the companies work boil down to two things - foster a
company culture that may be able to attract and retain top talent and find the
right fit from both skill and culture perspective, the second part can be done
by a recruitment company in Germany.
And for the first part, this is what you can do:
Invest In Talent
Gone are the days when a recreation room was enough to foster good
company culture, Studies have shown that a comprehensive benefits package such
as Health insurance options, PTO, and parental leave is one of the most
important factors in employee retention.
Therefore invest in your employees and foster a culture of
Work-Life Balance and flexibility that would be valued much higher. In addition
to this, the ability to work from home part-time or flexible commute hours can
also play an important role while deciding between your company and your
competitor.
Values Count
Top talent also wants to be a value add. It is important for them
to know that what they are doing in their company is contributing to its growth
and success. 71% of the professionals surveyed in the Linked In report said,
“We would be willing to take a pay cut to work at a company that aligned with
our core values and has a mission we agree with.”
A Culture Of Inclusion
Last but not the least, top talent needs to have a sense of
belongingness. Fostering an inclusive atmosphere where employees are
respected and valued is a significant factor in talent retention. It can be a
deciding factor on whether your company would be able to retain your great
performers as well as attract new ones in future.
